Imogen Belfield teamed up with MADE UK creating a unique capsule collection combining an eye for design and artisan details as well as a sense of ethics and sustainability.

MADE UK is a Fair Trade company whose focus is not only to create beautiful accessories in their Kenyan workshop, but to train artisans and provide sustainable, steady employment.

For this capsule collection, Imogen Belfield travelled to Nairobi spending 10 days working directly with local craftsmen in MADE's workshop. The results are a perfect fusion of African techniques and Imogen’s signature moulded and textured style. In addition to jewellery pieces, this collection also includes leather handbags, which is a first for Imogen, although her influence is evident in the brass hardware and effortless style of each bag.

Imogen hopes this collaboration "will help highlight ethical trade and the independence that craftsmanship skills can enable.”
